In building a luxury home, much depends on the taste and perceptions of the owner. Taste is of course, a relative and delicate issue. Library

A friend once observed that having a library in the house might not be a true indicator of intelligence on the part of the owner. That might be true, but it certainly could elicit that desirable impression. Naturally, if you love books, a luxurious home for you would be lacking without a good library. Plush carpets, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and broadband connectivity are in order. We may be moving towards a paperless world, but a few hundred well-selected volumes on display in an opulent and tasteful room in the house is an unmistakable testimony to luxury.

The master bathroom in your home can provide a luxurious and relaxing retreat for you. An oversized jetted tub, steam shower, heated floors and towel warmer. You can also include the latest technology to your luxury home design to add more distinction. For example, you might want to install the latest devices that will allow you to remotely control lighting, appliances, temperature, and security sensors and cameras from a central location or from other parts of the house or from your work place.
